Liftedap
Terms and Conditions
The agreement between you and Liftedap. It is written to be read: plain sentences, numbered clauses, and the real numbers the platform enforces rather than prose about them.
In effect since 15 August 2026
01What this covers
Liftedap is a video, shorts and live streaming platform. These terms apply to everyone who uses it — watching, commenting, uploading or broadcasting — and by using it you accept them. If you do not, the honest thing is not to use the service; if something here is unclear, write to [email protected] and ask before you rely on your own reading.
Two other documents are part of this agreement: the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines. The Guidelines are the operative list of what may not be published; this document says what happens when something on that list appears.
02Who may hold an account
You must be at least 13 years old. Sign-up asks for a date of birth and refuses anyone below that age, including when you sign in with Google — Google does not supply a date of birth, so we collect one before an account is created rather than after.
Accounts belonging to people under 18 have age-restricted material withheld on every read path, not merely hidden behind a confirmation. If you tell us an account belongs to someone under 13, we close it.
03Your account is yours to look after
Keep your password to yourself, and expect that anything done from a signed-in session is treated as done by you. Staff accounts carry a second factor because they can see held content; ordinary accounts may add one too.
Handles are unique and not property: we may reclaim one that impersonates a person or an organisation. If you lose access to your email address, write to [email protected] — password resets travel through that address and there is no way around it.
04What you upload stays yours
You keep every right you had in your videos, streams, thumbnails, captions and comments. You give Liftedap a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to do the specific things hosting requires — store your file encrypted, slice it for delivery, stream it to the people you published it to, generate and show thumbnails, and sample frames from it so the safety checks can run. Nothing in that licence lets us sell your work or license it on to someone else.
The licence lasts as long as the content is on the platform. Delete a video, or delete your account, and the encrypted media is removed from storage. The moderation record of decisions made about it is kept and detached from you, because erasing the evidence for a decision would also erase your ability to contest it.
05What you may not publish
The full list, with the score each category is measured against, is in the Community Guidelines. In short: no sexual content involving minors, no hate speech, no content that instructs or encourages self-harm, no harassment campaigns, no graphic violence for its own sake, no spam, and nothing you do not have the rights to.
Sexual exploitation of minors is not a moderation question. It is refused outright, it is never published while a person looks at it, and it is reported.
Talking about your own difficulty is not a violation of these terms. Content that suggests you may be at risk raises support resources and touches nothing on your account.
06How review works, and what it does not do
Every upload, comment and broadcast passes through Sentinel: a deterministic policy layer, an AI layer that scores frames and text, and human reviewers who decide anything the first two hold. When the AI layer cannot be reached the decision is marked degraded and the content is held rather than published — it fails closed.
- Held content is not deleted. It stays in your library, visible to you and to reviewers, and it stays yours.
- You can see the full record behind any decision on your own video: the layer that made it, the category scores, and the frames that were flagged.
- The automated layers do not remove borderline content on their own. They route it to a person.
- Where the platform is publishing first and reviewing after, the audience is the first reviewer — enough distinct reports on one video withdraw it until someone looks.
07Strikes, suspensions and appeals
Violations add a strike to the account. Strikes accumulate into a suspension, which limits what the account can do for a stated period and is shown to you with its expiry. Repeated or severe violations end the account.
Every enforcement action is appealable. Reply to the notice, or write to [email protected] with the video or stream link — a person reads it, and the decision can be reversed. Support resources shown to you are recorded as support, never as enforcement, and are never counted towards a strike.
08Live streaming
A broadcast is checked continuously: a frame is scored roughly every 4 seconds while you are live. A single frame at or above 80% confidence of a violation ends the broadcast immediately, and 5 alerts inside one window ends it as well.
A stream that stops sending frames stops being discoverable rather than continuing unchecked. If you record a broadcast, the recording travels through the ordinary upload path and is checked like any other video; it saves as unlisted, so publishing a replay stays your decision. A broadcast that Sentinel terminated is never saved.
09Limits, and using the service fairly
A single upload may be up to 2 GB. Accounts are rate limited — 10 uploads and 60 comments an hour, 5 broadcasts, 20 reports — because those ceilings are what stop one account degrading the service for everyone else.
- Do not scrape the site, or automate accounts, views, likes, follows or comments.
- Do not attempt to reach content that was withheld from you, or another account’s private library.
- Do not probe, overload or work around the safety checks, the encryption, or the rate limits.
- Do not file reports or copyright claims you know to be false. Both are read by people, and both cost the person on the other end.
10Copyright
If a video uses your work without permission, the notice form and what happens after it are on the Copyright and DMCA page. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated.
11Advertising and other services in the page
Pages may carry advertising served by Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies and is governed by Google’s terms rather than these. Sign-in with Google, transactional email and the hosting, database and inference the platform runs on are all third-party services; which ones, and what each receives, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
12The service will change, and sometimes it will be down
Features are added, altered and withdrawn. We aim to keep the platform available and your media intact, but Liftedap is provided as-is and without warranty of any kind, and it is not a backup service. Keep your own copy of anything you would mind losing.
13Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Liftedap is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost revenue, lost audience or lost data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You are responsible for what you publish, and for the consequences of publishing it to the audience you chose.
14Ending this agreement
You can leave at any time. Settings has a delete control that removes your account, your videos and the encrypted media behind them; it also has an export, so take that first if you want it.
We may suspend or close an account for repeated violations, for a single severe one, or where the law requires it. Unless a closure is the result of content that must not exist, you will be told which decision ended the account and how to contest it.
15Changes, and the law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Liftedap is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a material change is announced on the platform before it takes effect. Continuing to use Liftedap after that date means the new version applies.
16How to reach us
One address, read by people: [email protected]. Use it for questions about this document, appeals, copyright counter-notices, data requests, and anything the product itself has no button for. The support page says what to include so the first reply is a useful one.
